This Privacy Policy is designed to help you understand how Mega Multimedia treats your data.
1(a) Data Collection and Use. Mega Multimedia AI LLC ("Mega Multimedia," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, processes, and protects your Personal Information as described in this Privacy Policy.
1(b) Commitment. We are committed to protecting your privacy. Any information requested to verify your identity when using Alaga Products and Services will be used strictly in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
1(c) User Control. This Privacy Policy is designed to ensure you understand our data collection and use practices and are confident in your ability to control the personal information that is provided to Mega Multimedia.

"Personal Information" means any data that, either alone or in combination with other information to which Mega Multimedia has access, can directly or indirectly identify a specific individual. This includes, but is not limited to, information you provide, information you upload, and device information.
1(e) Definition of Alaga Products. Alaga products listed on this privacy statement refers to, Alaga supported hardware products (collectively, the "Alaga products"). In this privacy statement, the term " Alaga product " also includes web applications, mobile applications and subscription services offered by Mega Multimedia.
1(f) Acceptance. By using Alaga, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your Personal Information as described in this Privacy Policy.

Withdrawing consent for a specific function will prevent you from using that function, but will not affect your use of other Alaga functions.

1(l)(i) Storage Access: Reading, modifying, or deleting the contents of your device's storage (e.g., SD card).
1(l)(ii) Calendar Access: Reading, creating, modifying, or deleting calendar entries.
1(l)(iii) Location Access: Approximate location; Precise location.
1(l)(iv) Microphone Access: Recording audio.
1(l)(v) Camera Access: Taking photos and recording videos.
1(l)(vi) Overlay Permission: Displaying content on top of other applications.
1(l)(vii) Device Identifiers: Accessing OAID, Android ID, and other device identifiers.
1(m) Specific Information Collected:
1(m)(i) Alaga Smart Camera:
* Installation Information: Camera name, camera description, home address, zip code, and the camera's location within your home.
* Environmental Sensor Data: Data from sensors built into the camera, such as device temperature and ambient light levels.
* Video and Audio Data: Subject to your instructions, configurations, and settings, we may record and process video and audio data. This includes video acquisition, message reminders, and data analysis based on video content. This processing occurs when you enable recording or streaming functions, alarm notifications, or scheduled recording. If you use our storage service, we will upload video and audio data generated by alarms to the cloud and store it for a specified period (7 or 30 days, depending on your service plan).
* Device Technical Information: Camera model, serial number, software version, and technical information such as Wi-Fi signal strength.
* Content Saving and Sharing: Information related to sharing, such as your friend's account information and access times.
1(m)(ii) Alaga Sensors:
* Installation Information: Sensor name and location.
* Sensor Data: Data from the sensors (e.g., motion, open/closed status, smoke levels).
* Device Technical Information: Device model, serial number, software version, status, connectivity, logs, power, and battery level.
1(m)(iii) Network Connection and Account Creation:
* Wi-Fi Network Information: SSID and password to connect your camera.
* Shared User Information: Nickname, account ID, or account name of invited users.
* Mobile Phone Number and Area Code: For account login and SMS notifications.
* Basic Configuration Information: Name, avatar, and mobile app data (SDK/API/JS code version, browser, ISP, IP address, platform, timestamp, app identifiers, device identifiers, MAC address, IMEI, device model, OS version, session times, language, time zone, network status, disk/CPU/battery usage, process information, serial number).
* Mobile Location Data: If you enable location-based features, we will request access to your device's location data.
1(n) Self-Start and Associated Startup:
1(n)(i) To ensure that the Application can receive pushed messages from the client, even when closed or running in the background, the Application uses a self-start capability. This involves a system broadcast to wake up the Application, which is necessary for function and service delivery.
1(n)(ii) When you open a content push message, after obtaining your explicit consent, the Application will navigate to and open the relevant content. Without your consent, no self-start or associated startup will occur.
1(n)(iii) When you open a file downloaded within this Application, it will be associated to start a third-party Application.
1(o) Software Installation List: We obtain your software installation list information after you agree to these Terms.
1(p) Third-Party SDKs:
1(p)(i) Our products may contain third-party services or links. These third parties independently collect and process your Personal Information. Alaga is not responsible for these third-party services unless required by law. Review their privacy policies before use.
1(p)(ii) Specific SDKs:
* FCM Firebase: Google Push (Dependency). Used to send push notifications to Android devices.
* Google Pay: Payment (Dependency). Used to process in-app purchases.
* Google Sign-in: Third-party login (Dependency). Used to allow users to log in with their Google account.
1(q) Use of Information:
1(q)(i) We use the collected Personal Information to:
* Provide, develop, and improve Alaga Products and Services.
* Evaluate and recommend products, safety features, or energy use.
* Send you product-related information.
* Conduct surveys about your Alaga product usage.
* Perform analysis and research to inform sales, marketing, and business decisions.
* Securely transmit and store your information using industry-standard methods.
1(q)(ii) Data Controller and Processor: Generally, for the purposes of applicable data protection laws, Mega Multimedia AI LLC is the data controller for information related to products and services. However, for "audio and video signals and data" that you record using Alaga smart cameras, you are the data controller, and the Alaga smart camera acts as a data processor on your behalf.
1(q)(iii) International Data Processing: Depending on your location and data type, we may process data outside your country.
1(r) Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR Compliance):
1(r)(i) Contractual Necessity: We process your Personal Information to fulfill our contractual obligations to you (e.g., providing requested services, identifying and authenticating you).
1(r)(ii) Legitimate Interests: We process your Personal Information for our legitimate interests and those of third parties, with appropriate safeguards to protect your privacy. This includes: providing and improving services, developing new features, understanding usage, conducting research, sending marketing (with consent where required), preventing harm, detecting fraud, maintaining system integrity, and enforcing legal claims.

1(s)(iii) Third-Party Purchases and Services: We are not responsible for data collection by third parties from whom you purchase Alaga products or who provide installation/after-sales service.
1(t) Data Management and Deletion:
1(t)(i) Data Retention: We typically store your Personal Information on Mega Multimedia's servers for a period of 30 days (for cloud-stored video files) or 6 months (for other Personal Information) after you delete or edit it, or close your account. We may also retain your Personal Information for longer to resolve disputes, establish legal defenses, conduct audits, pursue legitimate business purposes, enforce our agreements, and comply with applicable laws.
1(t)(ii) Device-Stored Information: Information stored on the device is encrypted during transmission. You can delete it by resetting the device.
1(t)(iii) Access, Modification, and Deletion: You can access, modify, or delete your Personal Information stored on our servers through the controls in your Alaga account.
1(u) Cross-Border Data Transfers:
1(u)(i) International Operations: We may transfer data to countries outside your jurisdiction (e.g., Europe, USA, Singapore).

1(w)(iii) Pre-Deletion Requirement: Delete cameras and groupings before deleting your account.
1(w)(iv) Immediate Effect: Deletion is immediate; re-registration is required.

1(x)(i) Mega Multimedia uses cookies and similar technologies (e.g., web beacons, pixel tags) to enhance your experience with Alaga, understand usage patterns, and improve our services.
1(x)(ii) What are Cookies? Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device when you visit a website or use an application. They are widely used to make websites and applications work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owners of the site or application.
1(x)(iii) Types of Cookies We Use:
* Strictly Necessary Cookies: Essential for browsing and using features.
* Performance Cookies: Collect usage information to improve performance.
* Functionality Cookies: Remember choices (e.g., username) for personalization.
